It can be recalled in my Garage Sale! blog that I still haven't sold my encyclopedia. Until now, it is for sale actually. To give you a detailed background, we bought the 21-volume The New Book of Knowledge encyclopedia last March 2007 with the primary aim of instilling the virtue of reading to our 2 kids and at the same time, as a reading material for their schooling. Since we paid it in cash, the New Webster's Dictionary was given for free. We decided to buy the books amidst the suggestions of some relatives and friends that with the new technology nowadays, these books will not be of great importance. But Jerry and I always believed that reading from a book is so much different than reading from a computer...
The books are not yet opened from their original casing as we intended to let our children use these once they entered gradeschool. For the last 17 months, these were on display in our sala but were never been used nor opened.
