Motocross!

As a certified motocross fanatic, we travelled all the way from Mandug to Panabo just to watch the motocross event. This was organized as a fund raising event to finance the completion of St. Agustin's church also in Panabo. With Anna, Matoy, Malou, Yonin and Tata, we entered the Panabo Gym (with no entrance thanks to Matoy) and parked our car near the race track. There, we watched the beginners, novices and experts strut their racing skills not minding the scorching heat of the sun nor the dust that trailed them. We also didn't mind these as long as we saw the acrobatic skills of the riders. I immediately thought about RV and Aron who are also fanatics like me. If they were only here in Davao, they would really enjoy the show, no doubt about it. Unfortunately also, I forgot to bring my digicam in Manila, I could have recorded it and show it to my two boys. I had to bear with my cellphone na lang and take pictures instead.

The highlight of the show was the arrival of local artists namely Ian Veneracion, Carlos Morales and Onyok Velasco. Not letting the moment pass by without any remembrance, me, Anna and Yonin, gamely went to the stage where the actors were sitting and took their pictures. Aside from that, Anna also took some pics of our favorite rider, Ambo. We were not able to finish the race since we need to travel back to Mandug and its almost 5PM, so we don't know who won it... :-)
