Proud Parents

August 29, 2008

Last week, my sons RV and Aron took their 1st grading examinations at St. Gabriel International School where they are currently enrolled. Since I'm currently in Davao for work-related activities, I was not able to personally support them during their exam day, but I was the one who reviewed and tutored them days before their exam. So imagine my happiness when I learned that both of them had actually topped their class!

RV by the way is in Grade 1. At 6 years old, he was supposed to be a Kinder 2 student but got accelerated after passing the entrance exam with flying colors. Aron on the other hand is in nursery. I wasn't really expecting much from my kids, especially Aron, knowing that they are transferees and are still adjusting to Manila life. But I guess, they adjusted well. For Aron, I thought he cannot perfect the exam coz he was complaining much during our 3-day review and had to resort to many alibis (he's tired, sleepy, etc). But he got perfect scores for 2 exams and 1 mistake for his other 2 exams! RV on the other hand is a known bright boy. Even during his stay at Lifeword Montessori, he consistently topped his class.

When I told my hubby, Jerry, about this good news thru YM, he was ecstatic and very much proud of his sons. Ditto with my mama, papa, nanay, tatay my siblings and Jerry's. I really thank God for giving me and Jerry not only with 2 handsome boys but also intelligent and wonderful kids! God is really good and He doesn't fails to amaze us!
